The Mystery of the Missing Children : Author Combines Adventure and
Christian Morals in New Children's Book
Join author Clara E. Martin on a fantastic adventure through space
to solve the mystery of kidnappings occurring in a small town in her
new children's book, "Bill and Nell and the Mystery of the Missing
Children".
The story takes place in the quiet little town of Tacoville, where a
series of recent kidnappings has struck fear in every household.
Parents have begun confining their children in their houses to keep
them from being snatched away.
As a result of this confinement, Bill and his little sister, Nell,
decide to explore and play in their garage one morning. They nail
together a few old boards to resemble an airplane, pound fan blades
at the front and attach an old motor from their scooter.
The unbelievable happens when Nell pours popcorn into a pan sitting
on the hot motor. The popping of the corn sends the fan blades
spinning, plane wheels rolling and finally, to Bill and Nell's
horror, the plane lifts into the sky and off to other planets.
As the two children begin their accidental journey into space, they
eventually discover clues to the mystery of the missing children
from Tacoville. Along the way, they rely on prayer and wits to
overcome obstacles that threaten their chances of seeing home again.
